repentance
1 Corinthians 15:31 states, “ I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”
To “die daily” doesn’t literally mean the Apostle Paul physically dies, but he “repents”. Repentance is when we “kill” our flesh by laying it on the altar. When we talk about the flesh, or the carnal nature, we're talking about our mindset and the temptations we face. Our flesh has a sin nature, so when we “die daily” we are coming before God and telling Him to deliver us from these sinful desires and negative mindsets. Acts 3:19 reads, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” Repentance is more than just asking for forgiveness for our sins, but it is when we turn from our sins. We all make mistakes, but when we come to God with a genuine heart, confess our sins, and want to turn from our sin, we are forgiven (Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:90).
We are currently living under the dispensation of Grace (John 19:31, Matthew 16:18). When God manifested in flesh (1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:14) He died on the cross for our sins and from the time of His death through the time of the rapture, Jesus will forgive any and all sins if we repent with a genuine heart.
